Default How long will you keep your F, forever?

You know how people have had their lexus in the family forever like 10 or 15 20 years?

I mean to get the most out of it , it would make sense to pay it off and keep it for years and years from a financial stand point.

I mean when I pay it off its better than selling it next to nothing and getting another payment for something else. I guess it comes down to the "Im sick of this car" factor.

What do you guys think?

I'll keep mine for quite a long time as V8 NA cars appear to be a dieing breed. Also, I've had a blast with mine but can't see myself buying a fairly expensive car again. I have a house, family, investments and other interests now.

Right now my hobby is building up an old $3700 GMC Yukon

If I see a good deal on a used RC-F in a few years I will jump.

My wife may inherit the F in the future, but if reliable and no major issues, I plan on having it in the family for at least few years.

I still have my 2002 IS 300 that I drove out of the showroom. I plan on keeping the F for just as long. Very reliable cars!

For the first time this is a car that I'm growing sentimental value for. I'm so used to its behavior and acknowledged myself about it so much. It's definitely a keeper! I will keep it forever and show my kids one day. My 5 year old already loves the sound it makes...I tell her "baby put on your seatbelt...she replies daddy go vroom! vroom!? Yes, honey!...at the next stop she asks, Did we win the race?"....hahaha...the memories it's creating.

Good point about memories with the kids. Forgot to mention that I did pass my IS300 down to my son as his first car. It kills me because he doesn't take care of it like I did. But until yesterday, never had an issue with it (beside normal wear and tear).

Not keeping mine forever. Although it's a fun ride, it's also not a practical car. Then again, that depends on everyone's priorities.

I do plan to keep it for several years to come. I love the reliability of Lexus and toyota. I am looking for a weekend fun car. My main contenders are a c6 Z06 or ZR1, GTR, 911 turbo or "the new supra"

I sold mine but will consider getting another one when the prices drop a bit as a third car. I really want a quick 4 door car lol.

I intend to keep it as a daily for at least another 50k miles or so. Not sure about longer. Really depends on what else ends up in the garage with it in the next few years. I've put 20k on it so far in a year and a half and love it more than ever. Did I mention I don't drive to work?
