You have to be patient for an ISF, there are only ~5000 in the entire U.S. Once you start deciding on year/color/price/condition/maintenance it makes it even more difficult. It took me over 6months to find the right one, and it was only the 2nd one I looked at.
Here are the resources I used to locate mine:
autotrader
Cars.com
Craigslist
eBay
Cargurus
ClubLexus classified
Good luck with your search

yeah, I knew I was looking for something somewhat rare. I'll be buying the user's Kuwupt GS. I'm just having trouble with my stupid credit union on the left over financing. Anyone have any advice on getting a bank DEQ info from out of state? They won't accept a fax. Trying to avoid flying over to NC from OR.Been set on the car just grieving spending all my free time trying to deal with a damn bank. Perfect credit and income btw. Just want a car now.

I'd say continue to wait. I know the cross country situation isn't the most ideal, considering all there is to go off of are pictures and pretty much the other party's information. But there are those who waited patiently for months, if not years, for the right IS F to come around, and for the most part, it has happened.
The GS is still a great car, but if you had your heart set on an IS F, the waiting will have to continue.
Best of luck either way.

I've wanted one since they came out. Just wanted to ask one final time before committing to another car in which I'd love to have. Yet the ISF keeps coming into my mind. I need 4 doors having a kid, and yet I can't seem to find one. Kuwupt's GS simply said to me, "Buy Me." He's a great seller and person yet I keep finding myself asking why I wouldn't wait for an ISF, Every person I talk to seems to ask me why I'd go for a modded GS over an ISF, and I still don't have an answer besides "It's sexy!." Reason for this post is my Credit union is being a **** about it being out of state and over NADA Value, Bought 3 cars off of them, have perfect credit, and make enough... At a standstill.

Do yourself and favor and buy the car you really desire. I usually buy and keep cars for 8-10 years. I compromised myself and bought a used IS350 thinking it was "good enough". It was a great, low mileage, certified used car but surely wasn't the F I desired. Less than 18 months later I traded it in, (lost about 6k overall on the swap) then finally landed the F. I try not to think about all the Bens I lost and what I could have done with them, but lesson learned. Just get what you really want. You will be much happier in the end. Just my $.02.

Open an account with a Credit Union, they have better rates. Get pre-qualified and take the letter with you to the dealership. Don't tell the dealership anything about how you're paying for the car, just negotiate the deal.
Don't settle on an IS-350, the IS-F is worth the wait.
