Sorry to hear that sucks!

when i lived in an apartment complex way back in the day my pick up got broken into and my neighbors car got broken into also. He kept a spare key for his room mates car in his car, which was parked right next to him. Needless to say they just took the key and drove away with the other car. It happens!

OP: Sorry to hear about the loss of the car and all the hassle you are going through.

I think the moral of the story here is pretty clear and I will leave it at that.

Sorry to hear about it, but why on God's green earth would you keep a spare key in a car?

Damn dude, that's rough. I don't even leave a garage door opener in my car for fear of them coming back while at work.

Pretty bad car to steal..."yeah, I stole an IS-F. It's the only one I've seen in a 100-mile radius!"

Thinking about this more, this thief is a complete waste of oxygen.

It's the perfect getaway vehicle for a heist: fast, reliable, comfortable and if painted in the right color, won't attract as much attention.

So instead of taking care of the car, he runs a light. Is it me only, or is this thief younger than 23? The driving skills/judgement don't seem to be present.

I hope this idiot is caught and his new career will be laundry specialist at the State Prison.

I had a similar instance. Some minor boosted my E55 with the key...

They caught the kid 2-3 days later driving it around like it was his. Never really knew what happened with him, they couldn't release his information to me because of his age or something.. I still don't know how they got the key.

Hope everything works out. Fingers crossed they catch that *****. Worst part about criminals is they are almost more protected than the victim. What a shame, such a great car, and rare. Please keep us updated.

Thanks guys, just a random act I believe. I will keep everyone in the loop and will provide pictures on Friday when I can see the car.

+1.. steal one car and get the second car for free? doesn't make any sense.

That's almost like asking for trouble IMO. My spare keys stay inside my house, locked up.
