Default Track Day at Atlanta Motor Speedway

GoPro was a little finicky but here are 3 of my 4 sessions from AMS today for your viewing pleasure.

looks like fun. The car sounded great. Session 4 looked like no real traffic . Kind of cool to feel like you have the track to yourself. I have learned to line up in grid position 1 . This helps avoid traffic AND rock chips lol. Thanks for sharing the video

That bank to infield transition with no line is a bit memorizing. Good jab man. Now you can push out to the edge of those corners and carry more speed as the confidence grows. That looks like a fun course overall though. Good mix of corners.

No kidding, late in the day I started to miss my brake zone by a split second, that's when I knew it was time to turn it in for the day. I have way more respect for the NASCAR drivers now (not that I didn't before) as those banks are just as mesmerizing. I swear they could lull you to sleep because all you see is road when you're right in the middle of them. The first time the horizon shows up as you exit the turn its like a wake up call that you can get hard on the throttle.

Hot damn! Zak!!! That looks like a great course. Fun and fast! I'll never get over those banks though. Insane!
