Why do they have two T-bolt clamps on the throttle body.

Did you have to cut the plastics for the strut bar?

Yes you do.

Got mine done with an air sander. It's quite easy, but you're best taking a bit off at a time, that way you get a tight finish with minimal gaps in the plastics.

What are your impressions thus far on the intake? Any performance numbers available? I know the Joe Z gets you about 5hp, is this along the same line? Thanks in advance!

Probably better gains than JoeZ because the engine no longer vents to the intake but rather to atmosphere. You can see the breather at the fire wall. I just bought two breathers today and going plug off my Intake vent ports.

Update----

Sorry to high jack your thread, I just installed the breathers and going to plug the intake ports. Can anybody think of any reason why venting right where the breathers are located could be a bad idea? Thanks!

I think Rafi from RR Racing should chime in to explain this set-up for members here to avoid confusion.......

I almost bought the intake since it was discounted with the AO separator but stuck with stock. I was wondering it there is any appreciable differnece in sound. I wouldnt expect any real HP gains .

Similar discussion here - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...o-u-think.html

It will introduce unmetered air to the combustion chamber but should be offset by closed loop O2 feedback.

I'm considering the RR intake also. I would expect similar gains to JoeZ and HPS though. Any feedback on sound?
