Isf tax

Isf tax
I have been eyeing used ISF's for a while now and I notice they generally go well over blue book and hold their value really well. I was wondering how much are the low mileage 08/09 ISF are still going for? When I say low mileage I mean under 50,000 miles. Thanks in advance.

Market demand of the car as well as the supply of a given color combo will come into play, but these were what I gathered. A few potential IS F owners are inquiring the same thing, and I've been able to help a few get into their IS F, though they did have to wait awhile for their intended color combo to come to market. Generally speaking, this is what one who is in the market will be looking at in terms of finances.
NADA pricing...
-fair = $26.4k
-average = $28.6k
-clean = $30.4
KBB pricing...
-fair = $27.7k
-average = $29.2k
-very good/ excellent = $30.9-32.3k
Of course this is not considering the L/Certified, which I believe is the CPO status of some vehicles. 50k is pretty low mileage for an '08, but not too difficult to find. Best of luck!

Check out cargurus.com to give you a good idea of values. Also, the IS-F tax comes through Insurance. The IS-F costs me $600 more per year than a regular IS350 to insure.

Still not sure what the OP means by this. If he is referring to a "luxury car" tax, there is none in the U.S. There use to be, but it was only used from 1990-2002 and was only imposed on cars above 30k.

It's a saying inferring that there is demand therefore when people sell their isf they add $$$ on top of what they are actually worth to most people or kbb. For example 240sx prices are ludacris because the car is in demand by drifters so they call it the drift tax..
I've noticed the asking price on the isf are pretty high compared to kbb.

Have had similar discussions here on the UK forum.
Fact is no way a modified F owner will get back what he has spent on his car, period.
My argument though would be if I did sell my particular F at some point in time, it's one of one in terms of modifications here in England, or in Europe for that matter!
With just 200 or so F's in the whole Country, I would not sell it for less than I paid for it 18 months ago (someone's suggestion that modifying it actually decreases the value), nor would I try selling it for the cost of the car plus the full costs of my mods.
I would however sell it somewhere in the middle of the two values, as this is what it should be worth IMHO.
Granted a modified F may have a much smaller pool of potential buyers, but I would hold out to find someone who gets what I have done to my car, and appreciates the quality of the workmanship, attention to detail etc.
Generally people will pay for a car if they feel it's worth the asking price. If not, move on to the next one!
Harder for buyers here though with only a handful ever available.
