Former VQ owners roll call

Former VQ owners roll call
I notice a lot of screen names from My350z and G35driver, please post a couple picks of your former VQ and current ISF along with your Screen name if it's different.
I was Sylvan Lake V35 and had thousands of posts on driver and my350.
I had a home built 625whp pump gas G35, it had a sleeved 3.8L with twin GT3071 turbos. Sadly I never ran it on race gas to see its true potential, i took a new job where I was away from home on week days and weekends I didn't want to wrench on a car so I parted out the G35 and bought a BMW X5M and modded it. It was an absolute monster but when you have problems with your modded X5M no one even knows where to start so I eventually sold that and went with the ISF.
my part out in my garage, I literally had people standing in the driveway waiting for me to pull parts off the car.
My X5M
My ISF with FZero blue TE37s
Pie cut Tatanium intake
With the Forgestar wheels
Wald rear and ISS Forged exhaust

superblack350z here. still miss my Z and will prob get one or a s2k soon just to mod it. these pics, was with the new 5k paint job, looked flawless in person and was a big reason why Z stood out in person.

My previous car:
I just had intake/exhaust/hfc and an UpRev tune. Lowered on springs. 20" step lip Venaci Spirit (Work Gnosis GS4).Amuse front bumper and Mine's addon spoiler. I think that's about it. It was a base 6MT. Definitely more show than go but still a great fun car. I was on the370z but never really racked up a significant post count.
And the F:
I loved the Z but never find myself missing it with the F. I could see myself in a Q50 down the road if I find the maturity to give up some power since I like their styling better than the 3rd gen IS.

Had one of the first G35s ever imported into the states . Purchased in June of 2002. It was a lot of fun and had a ton of mods but just was not as reliable as I wanted. example 6 CD players in 5 years, and window motors kept going and had some oil consumption issues. Had not had a car for 4 years before owning this car since I was in school in Boston so I used to beat on this car like a teenager

I just got rid of my 04 G35 coupe a month ago to help fund the new baby and house life. It was a great car, pretty reliable especially since it was my first track car and saw multiple track weekends a year. Sold it to a friend on my LeMons race team who wanted a weekend trackday car to practice with.
Most mods where suspension (coils, adjustable sways, adjustable A-arms) and track related wear items (pads,2 piece rotors, so many track tires). Also had the basic plenum spacer/intake tube combo. I kept it pretty simple to reduce track downtime. Loved the VQ, it was a strong motor that tended to use oil but if you kept up with the oil level it worked great and parts are everywhere. Infact ,I have a VQ that will get shoved into my 240 race car some time this winter.

The ISF next to the G when I first got it
Hanging out with ZaxF and some other Lexus guys.

I agree, the styling on the Q50 is awesome! Why give up power? They got the Q70...? It's their IS F IMO...I've yet to run into one but I bet they'll give us a good fight or more!
