Default 2010 IS-F hardwire for Dash Cam install.

I picked up an E-Prance Dash Cam and today I wired in a micro USB power adapter for it.
I grabbed power from the mirror leads in the overhead

Default 2010 IS-F Dash Cam Hardwire

I would guess the overhead should be the same in other IS models so I am posting the video here as well

I have a 9500ix in each car.
I also now use the WAZE app on my phone.
The 2 are a pretty good combination for tracking police.

In case it helps. I prefer the Passport low so that I can see/reach the controls.
Here's a link to the wire run I did to the cigarette lighter a couple of years ago.
It was very easy to drop a line down the dashto the center consol

Thanks! I prefer it off the windshield so it's less visible and I can use my sunshade

Does it detect rear radar if it's that low? Wouldn't the back seats block it?

It's pretty much centered and looks to have a view out the rear.
