255/35/19 and 275/35/19 Michelin PSS Tire SET UP
Looked everywhere and couldn't find this set up on OEM IS-F 08-11 wheels..... so I dropped the cash and went for it anyways. The ride is much better and the IS-F hooks a lot faster with wider rears compared the stock sizes 225/40/19 and 255/35/19(which I had and were also Michelin PSS'). I took it to speeds of 125-130 mph no shakes or vibrations and on off and on ramps I just gun it and it grips very... very well. Put about 5XX miles before this review... couldn't be happier
My main concern was the clearance... it fills in very well and does not rub. I'm lowered on BC coilovers so I'm sure on stock height you'll be just fine.

I'll agree that it will hook better. But stock sizes were 225/40/19 and 255/35/19. Giving the rear wheels 275/35 just adds to the diameter and decreases the revs/mile. I've seen a few F owners who wanted the same aspect ratio in the front and rear, and it might actually be better for street driving, as to not have a low profile tire (especially here in LA where potholes are prevalent).

I hope that side shot is better.....
To tell you the truth theres not too many twisties here on the island other than north shore but everyone drives at a moderate pace here(speed limit) so I couldn't really tell you. I know you guys like taking you car on the track but honestly this as a daily set up perfect. I just mash on the pedal, all I want the car to do is to hook without breaking loose and grip whenever I need it and it does just that.

Very awesome you tried this! Finally! I was also searching for someone to have this type of setup. I'm very grateful you tried it and shared. I'm fully stock on a 2011 F, I loose confidence when my tail gets out a bit. I'm a decent driver and I correct it immediately but it keeps me from just mashing the pedal from a dead stop and having full confidence my car won't got haywire. For the rear is that maximum you can go? On stock wheels? 275? The front setup looks perfect. Also, did you install through dealership?

I am running the same tires on the 2014 rims. They do fill the wheel wells better. I haven't had them to the track yet, but braking and turn in are better. I'm betting midcorner speed will be up a bit as well, but it's hard to tell on the street.

i have brand new 245/35 275/35 michelin super sports in my closet. waiting to dial in perfect alignment with new RR racing bushings before putting it on.
im running a 20mm spacer with my current 275/35 now at camber setting of -1.2 . no rubbing. lowered a good amount.
255/35 is a bit too wide IMO if you want to have a flush set up.

Yeah those RR racing bushings look good and fancy I wanted to switch them out. I'm currently running FIG's LCA bushings 90 duro and I've put a little over 4k on them on stock spec alignment.... no front inner tire wear and I've drove across country on them twice. Its a pretty proven product so I'll hang on to switch over.

I remember when you got the wheels and I thought it was the 245/35 / 275/30. I know some of us are considering 275/35 more now since you can get PSS in that size without going on a waiting list.

Lobux do you happen to have a decent side view pic of your car with the late wheels and 255/35-275/35 tires on it?
