Default The wife got an ISF

After 8 months of searching all over the U.S. for the right ISF, I finally found one in GA that was the right color, the right price, and low mileage. It was delivered last night to CA. This will be my wife's DD, but I'll sneak it out every once in a while.

I will end up de-modding it a little to suit her. It currently has 19" ISS Forged which are beautiful, but I know she's going to end up curbing them so they'll be up for sale. The front and rear 2pc Figs rotors are an overkill for her needs so these will be for sale as well. I plan to pickup some standard Stoptech rotors as replacements.

The Tein springs on there are horrible in my opinion. They're way too soft for my liking and seem unstable at high speed if the road isn't smooth as ice. With the wheel sale, I plan to pick up a set of KW coilovers.

It's in need to a good detailing job, but I did a quick wash this morning to shine her up a little.

Here are some photos for you guys and I'm glad to be a part of this forum.

Congrats on the purchase! I'm sure both of you will enjoy the car a lot.

I'd be interested in picking up the rotors, but would like to get a measurement of how much is left on the rotor. LMK!
I'm also in Cali, but in Socal 626 area.

Thanks guys! Yes, those calipers are bright. Yellow, wouldn't have been my first choice, but they do look pretty nice. I would have been more happy with them painted black.

The rotor details will be up later.

congrats!! I drove that one a few weeks ago before I bought my 2011 isf. It was owned by a fellow member and he traded it in at a local Jim Ellis chevy dealer.

Yes, I've been in constant communication with the previous owner about the car. Him answering all my questions made me feel more comfortable buying the car without even seeing it first hand.

Do any of you guys know what this plug might be for? It's hanging out the headliner right behind the visor and it runs down the a-pillar. It looks like a phone jack, lol.

Running a radar detector is not a bad idea with this car.

Why would she curb the wheels? Just use the right mirror and watch the curb.

Good luck and enjoy!

I hope she never curb the wheels, but I'm sure that it's just a matter of time. The wheels are just too nice so I'm thinking that I could get a clean set of OEM wheels or reasonably priced cast wheels plus a set of KW coilovers from the sale.

nice ride but yeah ditch those springs. Looks like another front only job ( makes no sense to me ). Id leave the wheels and the rotors are probably better than stoptech
