Nice run down! What tires were you using during this event?

YUP! I had exactly the same experience with my car even when it was bone stock. even ran on worn stock size PSS. I lost a little respect for the viper that day. I backed off because the driver was slower than me. About 40 seconds after I backed off he spun off the track and into the dirt . My F impresses more on the track than it does on the street. Still can't believe so many of us have never been to the track with the F.

GREAT DRIVING !!! Car sounds great and you are nailing those apexes and powering out of those turns. I can tell you have more grip just from watching how early you can throttle out of the turn even when the turns are very tight . Great video buddy. Let's keep trying to inspire people to get out there. I did 6 track days in 10 months and am dying to get out there again. There is a local track day on the 20th. Considering go out to get it out of my system. Having to wait until October is killing me . I hate this AZ heat

Wow! Great driving, looks like a blast! Very impressed how the F can hang with a Viper. I was sure the Viper would just run away in the straights, but it really didn't, pretty amazing!

A good driver in an "F" will beat a mediocre driver in another car every time! Our cars excell on the track, and generally suck on the tight autocross type stuff because of their weight. The tires help immensely! I embarrassed my fair share of vetts, and p cars with my "F" because their driver "thought" they could drive.

You are correct. I have a video of me chasing a McLaren that same day. As soon as I got too close for comfort, he exits the track. He gives no signal he's exiting, he just runs off. It just goes to show you how much seat time really maters.

I know another owner of the same style mclaren but he knows how to drive and watching him is amazing, untouchable. I haven't posted that video of me and the Mclaren because I can't stand it when people say "if the Mclaren had a good driver, you would never catch him". I KNOW the F is not even considered a car when put beside a McLaren. I don't think for a second the F is remotely close to a McLaren. What I want people to understand is although the vehicle performance has a big part to play, driver skill has just an equal amount or more. I will post the McLaren video shortly.

That was some great driving, passing a Viper. That car has about 80 more horsepower and weighs 400lbs less stock.
