Default Got beat by a stock M4

Hey fellas first and foremost i have 20 inch wheels which is not in my favor but i do have all bolt ons ( headers cat back exhaust etc.) He pretty much immediately launched a car ahead of me and the battle kinda stayed there till high third gear low 4th then he started to pull away. I think they are low 12 from the factory anyway which i think if i would have had my stocks on could been pretty close.

Not surprising, those cars are very fast and really nice looking but that raspy turbo 6 sounds just awful.

Also i didnt want to complain but i had to disconnect the battery while showing at HIN and we raced approx. 20 miles after that. How much time after ecu is reset will you get optimal tune from ecu.

Thats surprising. I've raced 2 and pulled away from both of them pretty easily after 120mph.

I am wondering this too. Lobux how long do you think it takes for ECU to relearn the exhaust headers and intake. I have always wondered. I love your technical responses haha

That's embarrassing, every time he shifts you should be pulling away by a half length of the car

You can always lose.to a stock 335i like me. I have excuses but it's irrelevant. Losing is losing. Would love to take a loss from an m4 over a damn 3 series.

^ Agreed, I've noticed I really have to beat on my F to get the best out of it.

Plus racing from a standstill doesn't put us in the best position as I've noticed 1st and 2nd gear don't do much, it's 3rd and 4th gear that really start to show the beauty of this car.

I've come to terms with the F. Not the fastest out there, and our aftermarket is minimal. Still love it, just wish there was more potential.
