Mustang Coyote 5.0 vs ISF 2ur gse 5.0
I stumbled across a few YouTube videos where is shows the 5.0 mustang pulling on an ISF, anybody's experience an to the gearing on the mustang? Obviously they have the same amount of cylinders, displacement, and similar HP output, maybe it's the weight difference?
Links:
It looks like it takes headers (in this case Sikky) to pull on the mustang below:
Here's one with an Evo X pulling on a ISF on a few pulls, have no idea if it's stock or pushing higher boost?

One thing about the Mustang (my brother has a 2014 GT) is that you have to launch it PERFECTLY to keep up especially with stock suspension! The car tends to hop when you do launch it (without track bar and lowering brackets for the rear axle mounts). The car's traction control sure doesn't help launch it off the line either. it's not like the ISF where it's easy to launch. it's a fine balance.

I just drove the 2015 with the track package this last weekend and it feel like it has more torque down low. Didnt dig the speed boat hood. The car was pretty bad ***. Nice package for a great price AND the interior didnt make me want to kill myself.

Interesting.... maybe that's why they're doing rolling starts on these particular videos

Ah the new one with the IRS. I wonder if the gearing is shorter in the mustang which would lead to the feeling of more torque down low? I doubt they have the same top speed as the ISF though?

^^^What size is the turbo on the Evo X? How much boost is he pushing to get the 400whp? From 30mph on to what speed? I assume after a certain speed you would pull on him..

^^That's pretty high boost for the stock turbo, I guess what I meant to say is you can have a stock turbo but it is sized for a certain amount of flow for the particular engine and if you raise the boost then it can only flow so much, but I guess if the stock turbo that Mitsubishi put on the Evo X can flow enough at mid 20's that's pretty good!

2015 GT is pretty ridiculous, it got a big revision like the RCF engine. It gains 30 hp from an exhaust because of the restrictive exhaust piping to meet euro noise standards. This one video already had one up to 450rwhp with intake, tune, long tube headers, X pipe, and stock mufflers.
