Default DCTMS Steering Wheel came this morning

Well my new wheel early this afternoon. I'll install tomorrow. I took measurements of the old and new wheel and:

Top OD - 1.4" vs stock, 1.15"
Grip OD - 1.3" vs stock, 1.11"
Above Grip OD - 1.84" vs stock, 1.35"
Just Above the Above Grip OD - 1.46" vs stock, 1.15"
Bottom OD - 1.49" vs stock, 1.16"

The feel is GREAT and the ODs are perfect IMHO.

As explained in my other thread:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ing-wheel.html

DCTMS built it exactly to my specs, and I LUV it

The feel is wonderful and the quality is top notch.

To say I am pleased would be a huge understatement.

the wheel looks great! One of my buddies here locally has a similiar wheel like yours. He also opt'd to have the silver CF on the bottom vs the top.

I was reading your past thead and I saw you had mentioned the only black CF you had on the car was the F-Sport Shift ****. If im not mistaken, Ivan from DCTMS can convert that black CF into Silver CF and also change the leather to perforated to match the seats and sides of the steering wheel.

I'm not trying to offend you but I think the silver carbon weaves are super wavy. Maybe it's because how they applied the direction of the weaves. I think it would look better if the weaves are perpendicular, it would be shorter this way and less wavy. Other than that, the steering wheel looks nice and thicker than any other DTC I have ever seen

^^^^No offense taken. I know you have an agenda, it's a pity you have to throw stones in my thread.

1. Super Wavy, NO - There is minor waving on the left side. But, IMO, that's the nature of the beast. I know it's there, but it's not distracting to me.

2. I just looked close up at the wheels you are promoting, and notice what I consider minor waving in them, but as I said it's the nature of the beast, and they look good to me. Having the weave vertical (as in the wheel you advocate) however, would not be my choice.

3. I prefer to weave to be angled, the way the stock weave is in an ISF, and, in fact I ordered it that way.

Again, I am thrilled with my new DCTMS wheel, and I'll be posting installed picts tomorrow.

ah never noticed the angle of the CF on your wheel, going to look great if it matches the weave and direction of the OEM trim!

I have the all leather one but yours has the "correct" thickness, nice, much like the M's dimension.
