The communication with the seller is great, he offered me a refund if my CF paddles don't work in any ways.. I just have to return them to him for a refund.

I will let my friend who works for a dealership bodyshop do the install so he will figure out the wiring.

Lol if you are closer, I would have done all of these installation for free. I'm so good at it with 2 installation of my own car, 2 of Josh's car. And a few other none ISF

Small update.

Took my car to a Bodyshop this morning to fit my replica Wald trunk spoiler.

Decided to flick it into manual mode, and use the shifter to change gears.

Worked fine.

Tried the carbon shifters again, no deal.

Only job left will be testing the OEM shifters with the carbon electronics. If that works, must be an issue with the carbon shifters themselves.

Hopefully get some time to try it this coming weekend.

Will report back when I do.

Just make sure all the wirings are connected from the steering wheel to the shifter. Sometimes we forget the little thing

Will do Khoa.

Pretty sure I re-connected everything I needed to.

No harm in double checking though!

Hope u get it sorted out, my wheel w/paddles should be shipping this week. I will let my bodyshop guy looked into the wiring as the seller is confident the CF paddles should work with the oem connectors.

I double checked my wiring when I installed the CF shifters and everything was good and tight.. but still didn't work

You know what could be interesting to try... one side CF and the other side non CF. lol, I know it sounds funny, but it could be interesting!

I'll give that a try as well then!

Just to see what happens.

I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to fitting and re-fitting parts. Very confident everything is wired up as it should be.

I'll be back!

Sorry for bumping an old thread.

Anyone had luck making the CF paddles work on our cars?

Update: I finally installed my CF steering wheel & CF paddles & I'm happy to say they work fine with the oem connectors.

Thx again MK4 & PD for the hookup & help.

Nice dude!

Looks really sweet!

So you're carbon paddles are working properly?

Still haven't had time to have another try with mine.

Almost done with the DIY at the house though, so should have a bit more free time soon!

Love what you've done though mate. Looks very nice indeed!

Enjoy!!

Peter

Hi Peter, thx for the compliment... yes I reuse the OEM connectors with the CF paddles & they work nicely. I didn't try using the aftermarket connectors so I don't know if that combo would work.

Are you OEM paddles still not working?
