buy an 08 then. If you're not going to track, you don't need the LSD. I think you can find an 08 with 50K miles and new rotors and tires, coilovers, headers, and exhaust for 30k.

I was in the similar boat as you with my 2013, 29500 miles needed tires (S04 Potenza's $860 shipped from Tirerack) & priced out front pads/rotors/shim kit & HW kit at $615 plus shipping. Your rear brakes might still be GTG still btw.

I'm pretty sure it varies between states. When i bought my 08 ISF this year, it had 76K miles and I bought it OTD @ $34,300.

Yep I'm on the DIY list like everyone. Recently changed all 4 rotors and brake pads myself but the parts were definitely more pricey than my 07 G35S sedan

But at least I was able to DIY it after watching the YouTube someone posted... thank you

Still debating between this and a is350 (newer under warranty, please dont hate me guys.. lol)
You should probably drive both. I had an is350 and I can tell you the driving experience in my F is night and day. Something about that v8.. mmm.

In Jax. I searched for 6 months and not one showed up locally that had less than 100k. Price seems fair but could be IMO.

I have am 11 , same colors. Best combo IMO.

From the photos, it looks pretty clean and maintained (except they could've vacuum the carpet better )

Well its pretty much apples & oranges when comparing IS350...

ISF - More Performance (111 more HP), stiffer ride, no center rear seat, will dust IS350s stock for stock

IS350 - Fairly less performance (111 less HP), softer ride, center seat, will get dusted by ISFs

OK so I'm still working on this... I will be test driving the 350 this weekend.. What do y'all think will be worth more in 4 year and 40k miles later. The 14 350 with 50 or 60 k or the isf with 80k ish on it.

Keep in mind I will never track the car just driving around town... But I also want to get a boner every time I get in the car.

Any guy in Orlando/Jacksonville that work on their own cars?

IS-F will always have more value IMHO.

Rarer car, more performance etc.

I think an IS-F will be worth more than any IS350 every day of the week.

I’m really leaning towards this but I have a feeling the OTD price is 38500 is kinda high and they don’t want to budge... then I have to get tires and... I am worried about rotors (how do I know if I need new ones? Grooves/warped?) Then theoretically after that.... from what I read.... I have nothing more to worry about and I can drive it "with enthusiasm" every day until my next set of tires wear out (I was looking into Continental DWS as they have a much higher tread wear rating, 40k warrantee (not expecting that mileage but close)). It will be my DD, from long trips to the 2 mile commute to work.

The car I drove ever so slightly pulled to the right, can it be fixed with an alignment? Iv also heard the tires wear quick because of how the car is set up.. can it be adjusted factory of does it have some type of part ordered.

If you are worried about tread life, you're looking at the wrong car. Seriously. Saving a couple of hundred bucks on tires then sliding into a curb and paying $1500 for parts because your tires are weak sauce is a false economy.

Buy the 350. You'll be way better off in the long run.

FWIW, I have owned both. The 350 is a great ride. It's just not an F.

I'm not worried about treadlife, I'm "worried" about having overly aggressive camber/toe on steering geometry that unnecessarily wears tread for street use. We had dws's on my step dad xjr and they were pretty awesome. I'm simply getting all my ducks in a row before making a purchase. Thanks for the input.
