Threads merged. Folks, let's not have 5 new threads about an existing subject. It really diminishes the quality of our content and makes lots of needless work for the all volunteer moderating team.

Wheelie bars wouldn’t have done a thing. They will work when it is wheel torque raising the front. This was an aerodynamic event. At that speed the car was an airfoil… physics and Bernoulli's principle lifted it. Once it began to lift, the angle of attack did the rest.

I say it's still an IS-F if it's using an IS-F chassis. Looks that way and it still has the IS-F body panels. It's just an extensively modified IS-F drag car with an engine swap. =)
Most if not all drag Civics aren't using their original 1.5-1.6 liters, they're all built and swapped H22s or K series or stroked out B series motors. They're usually extensively lightened with lexan windows, fiberglass or CF doors and body panels ect. They're still civics.
Now if that IS-F was really a tube chassis with a fiberglass body, I stand corrected.
