No he just said my car. I will find out next week and post. I would assume all but I could be wrong. Since above shows an 2008 in picture.

It lists ISF's 2008 through 2010, but yours is a 2011. Go figure.......

Btw, the recall I mentioned in my previous post only affected 08-10 model ISFs. I'd be curious to see if the SA knows you have an F, or if this is a new recall all together for the later year models. This link gives you an idea of the models/years affected by the old recall: http://repairpal.com/recall/14V647000

make sure you take the engine cover off and check the wire harness after the recall is done so you don't have to deal with this
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...protector.html

also as for a master tech to work on your car so this doesn't happen to you

Very lucky to have a guy on the inside working at Lexus. He is a parts manager and former Master Tech. He will make sure to get my car to the right guy. However I will check before I leave. I saw the wiring harness issues and I will be pissed if that happens.

I will let everyone know if this is for later models once I get in. Should be early next week.

Does this mean they have to pull the manifold again?

This is not for the 2UR-GSE, so it's not complete information.

It has always been 2008 through "certain" 2011 model years.

care to share? I've been holding out getting mines done until I am sure either Service Manager at the Durham or Raleigh one is fully aware of the issues with the wiring harness..

I dont mind sharing. hahahaha. He wont actually be doing the work he will have a tech that he trust do it. That way they work on my car like they would work on their own. Once I get it done I will take pictures and let you know how it went. If it goes well I will get your car in with that tech.

If thats what you are asking.

$5 in electrical tape and 30 minutes of labor to save $45 on the part and 10 minutes of labor. Silly.

I ended up buying the new part myself and installing it. The service manager responsible for doing this never called me and never scheduled an appointment to have it done. I am not surprised. They never see me, so they are completely unconcerned about losing my business.

I will say this, the old one literally broke apart in my fingers. I may still have some tiny plastic bits below the intake manifold because it literally crumbled when I went to remove it.

I would like to think that Lexus would use a more thermally resistant plastic for this part, but no.
