$2k is a pipe dream. The projected price for the SARD tune was into the $3k's, and that was for you sending your ECU to Japan, and them flashing it, not for a separate ECU like someone mentioned in this thread.

Right now he is working on it. 7400 rpm, speed limited up to 320kmh=about 198mph and at least 20 whp gain. But he also says the engine runs and much better then stock. He is testing right now and making sure its works flawlessly will keep us up dated.
Epic! Thanks, Cody!

Keep us posted. Just bought my F last week and this may be the first mod I do.

I'm not technology inclined with Vehicles so this may be a dumb question for most of you...

$2700 or so to purchase a Japan ECU that will plug right into my ISF here in Canada? I'm going to assume that they are very close to the US Spec ISF for now. So I wont have to ship my ISF ECU away to Japan? $2700 includes a new ECU shipped to my door ready for my ISF. And can any shop change over my ECU for me or would this be something that I would have to get Lexus to do?

Bakewalk, if you live in Calgary area I will change your ECU out for you.

And yes, $2700(USD) so at the current exchange ~$3200CAN will get you a Flashed JDM ECU sent to your door.

98 RON but that is a different measurement than in the states. 98 RON is close to 93 octane here.

Yes, I am in Lethbridge so very close. Do you work for Lexus? Are you going to get the ECU?

No, i'm an Engineer but the ECU is a couple of bolts and a wiring harness... extremely simple.

I doubt it, I don't plan on keeping my ISF for that much longer. It's time for a P-Car

if its a official UK sold car
then its a EUDM car which is different again to JDM and USDM cars
but it would be closer to JDM then USDM

anywayz update
got a a/f reading out of the car its runing at 12 A/F which i think is too rich still
going to lean it out abit more to 12.5

Be careful, remember we already know the DI injectors need a certain amount of fuel flowing through them at WOT or they will overheat and die or at least cause detonation - with a relatively unknown engine such as this i would be leaving a reasonable safety margin...

Mine is indeed an official UK car (one of around 200 sold this side of the pond!).

Hopefully being closer to the JDM model they can work their magic for me.

Look forward to following your progress chap.

since its running the stock ecu with the parameters
if will be safe
and before the injectors melt the car will knock and the ecu will shut itself down
