It seems cool but there is just too much on the dash to really say it'd be worth having. If it displayed google maps, etc that would be worth it. I think there is another product on the market that does something very similar in a smaller package but I cannot think of the name of it now.

Just use your cellphone. There are several apps out now(some are free). Just get a sticky pad on the dash, and it reflects against the windshield easy. Plus it is less bulky and not so obvious.

I use this for safety
I pull this car to the limit when I do rollin with other cars.
In my case, I feel little dangerous when I have to look cluster for perfect gear shift in manual mode at high speed running even if I have 2011 cluster.
Because there are few cars around in highway, I have to focus on the road situation during full acceleration .
So, this hud helps me to do it by displaying speed and two shift alarm which I can change setup according to my taste.
And.... the most important thing is.. I'm fall in love with these kind of info screen.
obd2 type is not accurate than this product because this extracts info directly from the wires of backside of cluster. And the reflector which has multiple special coating never makes double image.

If you want a phone integrated HUD, then this is what you need:

Personally I think all of the aftermarket HUD's are too big sitting on the dash.

There was dimming sensor attached to this hud. It controls the brightbess level of hud autimatically. You have to adjust it with a trick in order to brighten the dimming setting's average brightness. Anyway if you set the brightness in manual mode which I use these days, you can set 7 level of brightness, level7 is quite bright to see perfectly clear in daytime.
