Default Best Tires for Comfort

What are the best tires for comfort?

I had Michelin Pilot Super Sport on the '12 ISF and looking for a new pair. I don't plan to go with PSS because tread wear was not that great but serious considering the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 in the spring, these tires will be for summer only.

I don't track any more but will do some spirited driving, in order of priority

1. Comfort
2. Performance
3. Tread wear
4. Road Noise

It was in my old 2007 IS 350. Our race track in our city is dead and another one is not expected for another 2 years.

Do you know Reg Reimer at RCTS? He was a great resource to the Supra community, and would easily be able to recommend something more suitable to your application.

Tread wear probable wasn't great due to wheel alignment. Get a conservative wheel alignment and your tires will last much longer.

IMHO, any A/S tire is a compromise and not suitable attire (sorry, I couldn't resist the pun) for an ISF. If these are for summer use, get a good summer max performance tire. The ISF has too much potential to be hampered by limitations of any A/S tire. The PSS and Bridgestone S-04 top the list here. But the attached chart (TireRack Survey) will give you a good basis to make decision.

Lou is correct. A/S tires on the ISF is going to be a formula for wheel spin. They will wear like stone relative to the summer tires but the trade will be max grip

I know the PSS better in handling. Anyone have Pilot® Sport A/S 3 installed on their ISF ? Comfort is # 1 for me, the PSS was ok for comfort. I live in Canada, the summer are not that hot here.

Not on the F. On the wife's tC. They work well in a broad range of temperatures, wear a little better than PSS, and are more readily available at tire shops than PSS.
