I find this funny only because I have experienced similar events here in California. I find people stop following when you deliberately pull into a Sheriff's Station or the County Jail.

That is nuts, and dangerous of him. I probably would have called 911 and reported him before I even pulled over in this instance. I'm glad you got the situation under control and for busting his chops.

Greg - no, I did not hit his vehicle because I would have felt something like you stated. He said I had "cut him off" which I do not believe I did because I do my best to stay in one lane as a safe driving habit but anything is possible.

I8ABMR - yea, I could have done that but I really wanted to know what was up with this guy.

I have a gut feeling he will not attempt to do anything like that again and one would think his stomach is pretty tight right now every time his phone rings or he gets a request from his superiors. I know mine would be!

Crazy story.. I felt like you definitely should had reported him. It was easy for you to handle the situation once the guy saw your badge and firearm. But what if he had done this to a civilian? The man either has anger issues or he's on a power trip!

Guy will remember that for a long time, let's just hope he will not look for a much weaker victims next time he gets in a road rage. Reminds me of a video I saw few years ago when 2 rednecks chased a z3 owner and his girlfriend into the woods, ending was priceless too.
