So on average, my lexus tire caps got stolen thrice a year for my IS350.

Two days ago my F has one of the caps switched out by some *******s to a regular black one.

What the ****** is wrong with these people, these caps dont cost a lot but it's annoying to replace
And I dont know if there's such thing as OEM lexus caps, since they come with the car when I got it. The 3 on my F is silver color, metallic. I remember my 350 has the same ones before they got taken away too. I got some cheap ones on ebay but they dont really fit nice, the cap is too short for the valve.

I dont think a lexus owner would steal such a thing from another lexus driver...would they?

Any idea or how do you guys deal with this? Thanks!!

I have the Lexus logo caps on my valve stems. SO far so good, but my car is only parked in my work spot ( cameras ALL over the place or in my garage. Sadly I drive our Sienna on the weekends more than my F. Im sure its annoying.

I've had mine stolen a few times. That and the stupid tow hook cover. It's not the most expensive parts to replace, but it's still a hassle. Thieves just don't respect anything. But I've had friends who've come back to their cars on bricks with their wheels taken, and that's way worse than silly valve stems.

It's really annoying, but sadly there isn't much you can do about it. They do sell lockable valve caps? Has a tiny hex screw in the body you tighten, but means you have to undo them whenever you check your pressures. Not such an issue if you have nitrogen fill instead of air (nitrogen won't need checking for months)?

Could be worse as others have said. I had a beater I used for getting to my train station over here, someone stole three of the four lug nuts from my rear wheels!

Luckily I noticed the hub caps were off before I got in to drive home. That kind of thing can kill people.

Was only a few bucks for new ones.

Don't get why people do these things.

Easy way to deal with this over there would be to hide somewhere, shoot the thieving scum, drag them on to your lawn and call the cops! Lol.

Had the same thing happen to me a few years back. One would think teenage kids just trying to act cool. I have gone with the cheap ones after that and only had one taken so far.

Best thing you can do is not let the caps ruin your day. Too many other bigger things with our cars (dents, chips, vandalism, theft...) and if all I have to do is replace some valve stem caps because of an a**hole, I am cool.

There is such a thing as karma, both good and bad and hopefully the black karama cloud will ruin the person's day 10-fold when the karma catches up to his sorry A**.
