Sometimes people appreciate a nice car
Couple of weeks ago I started a thread about a guy that just didn't seem to get the "F". This is the other way.
So I pull into the gas station to fill up and this guy a couple of pumps away looks over my car not really seeing all of it from his angle, and says:"nice brakes, where did you get them?" I told him they were stock and he goes 'nice'. He took another look and asked if the car was a Lexus? I told him it was and he mentioned that hopefully he'll move up from his Camry to Lexus next. I politely told him that I have a Camry also. He then asked if my car was a 350 and I told him it was actually a 5 litre at which point his eyes lit up. He told me I really shouldn't be driving my car in the winter and I told him that I had to lend my Camry to my sister and and as soon as she gets her new car in a week or so I will be able to put "F" back in the garage.
I thought it was kind of nice that this fellow knew he was looking at a special car without seemingly know what it really is.

When people realize its an ISF and ask if it has a V8, I always respond .." Yup and its has more HP than a C6 Corvette ". They all know Vettes, so its a great comparison
