Just picked up the isf after recall work. Besides having a bland es350 that they wanted me to return with same amount of gas used, they didn't refuel my car as expected. Good news is they drove it for less than a mile so I don't think there was much abuse.

Add me to the list of new radiator recipients. The dealer didn't say a word, I opened the hood and saw the new coolant bottle and radiator when I was inspecting the wiring harness protector from the other recall.
Now I don't have to replace the coolant for another 60k!

FYI - if your dealer has to replace the radiator, they will need to reset the ATF level in the transmission. The dealer who did mine did not do this and now I have all the old issues I had with low fluid - flare, holding in gear after hard turns, etc...
I do not understand why it is such a challenge to get quality work.

I would say just pump in 4-5 ounces and call it a day

What are the odds. My bracket assembly snapped before I had the work done. I was closing the garage door and before the door shut I heard a loud crack. I thought I was hearing things . Then the next morning when I got to work the car was shaking like crazy with AC on. Dealer covered it all but now I know why they are doing the recall. lol

I wonder how many were affected. I was told that my VIN required the cooling fan and Fuel recalls. I got mine back today and was told only the ELF recall was done. Mine were tight and the part number wasn't one of the affected ones.

Good thing it happened in the cooler months.!!
I was probably one of the first to see the failure happen.. I unplugged the secondary fan unit, until I had the time to fix it..
One of the reasons are those cheap *** oem bolts that go on dry with no Loctite at the factory..
The same new bolts are now installed with Loctite..
Mine new solution, as shown above, is a permanent fix..
