Op, is that just due to the tape holding it in place or is there a gap that size there

those side lips looks way diff than the regular cf ones they sell. looks like they extend out a lot more

These seem to protrude out further than previous pics of the 2 piece set. Are the sides different from the others we have seen?

I cant comment about the fitment as of this moment, i just tape it and not aligned properly. But so far, comparing it to other lips in the market, this is the best look Id ever seen. In the picture it seems a little wider but in the actual ITS PERFECT! The flows of the shape match up really GREAT with our bumper. With the price you cant complain. Thanks nigel.

Are the sides cf? Looks like some cheap plastic. Doesnt this kit come with all 3 pieces in cf?

They are carbon fiber too, but painted. It looks great in the actual view.

They are actually fiberglass or FRP. Not carbon fiber.

Oh ok. So you painted them yourself but they are actually the same type and look of cf as the middle piece?

The sides are not carbon fiber. They are made of FRP and painted an "off black" from the factory. See the screen shot directly from the translated aeroworkz website
