Looks good, I would have choosen the 245/40 to keep the same type of thickness consistency with the rear though.

i did and they rubbed. i dont have a pic of them on the car but here the 245/40/19 next to the stock size 225/40/19. i plan on loweing the car soon so it would of been a lot worse on the rubbing.

yah i know one rim looks jacked up, i got it that way on the car. i will repaint them later

Update: After driving on them for a few days it barely rubbed a teenie tiny bit, not enough to do any damage to the car or tire, on the passenger side. So I borrowed a fender roller and rolled the small portion of the fender lip. Now for the large passenger test, flexing the suspension coming off of a steep driveway the tire barely rubbed the inner liner where the rear bumper cover meets the body, and i mean barely. So to all the doubters out there. they fit and drive great. Car still handles great, it drives MUCH smoother. The "sharp" or "fine" bumps are almost completly gone. I am entirely happy with this size and will continue to get it as long as the stock wheels are on this car, which will be a long while. The speedo is off a tiny bit but not enough for me to care.

Corrected for truth. If you haven't measured it with a watch on a timed course, you can only say it feels good to you. I'd bet a stack of hundreds it is slower around a timed course.

You may be correct, but this car will very rarely ever go around a road coarse. may be once at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. Just to do it.

From how ****ty my car felt with the 285/30 ( let alone the 285/35) on stock wheels I would drop a couple more stacks on that bet. The car was a sloppy mess. The rear felt like it was trailing the front. Wishy washy like a **** . LOL I didnt even need to drive the car more than a mile or two to tell that the engineers know more than we do. Upgrade the rubber first, then the size.

I can only imagine, with the Nitto INVO mushy sidewalls and the larger sidewalls that are also spilling over the side, what the car would fell like on a track or even pushed on the street

I know that "mushy" feeling you are talking about. after I replaced the control arms with the Figs Mega Arms, that "mushyness" mostly went away. I see what you are saying and agree with you about the sidewall stiffness comapired to handling performance. Im just saying it still handles very well and the ride quality is far better due to the "mushyness". Remember this is a daily driver first, toy second. I have a bad back and the ride quality is very important to me, due to that reason.

In the end you are right. If its not going to the track you probably just made the car significantly more comfortable for road use. I was at the track today and again found that the tire sizes are adequate , surprisingly........ I was up the *** up a Viper today on the track. I could sit on his bumper all day long. Was one proud F'er. The Lexus engineers didnt let us down. The car is fine bone stock........ trust me ( for track ). On the street the car can be a bit harsh on ruff surfaces, but in AZ it just doesnt happen very often. As long as it meets your needs it perfect !
