lol, 285/30 will fit just fine though. you should be the first to do it. i was going to fit 285/30 myself, i just couldnt find a matching front and rear brand/model tire that i liked.

my friend just ordered nitto invo 245/35 285/30 on ebay for 650 plus 70 shipping brand new. will be in tomorrow. i believe the seller has one more of the same set. its a steal of a price. total weight of 4 tires are 120 lbs though. only downside to wide tires.

v8sten… 35's won't work.. the car will look too tall.. I'm running on eibachs and and had a little fender work done… thats why it clears it. if i could go back to when i ordered my tires, i would probably have gone with 275 instead. little difference but makes a big difference on how the rim and tire looks IMO. idk about 285/30 w/o fender rolls…. but 285/35 is way out the question i think. good luck.

No concern about scrub radius, roll couple, instant centers, roll axis? What kind of racing - straight line?

I had Nitto Invo's on my F and they were OK, nothing great. They had very soft side walls so there was a lot of sidewall flex, especially on a relatively heavy car like the F. Because of this handling was compromised. Also they just didn't have enough grip compared to the stock Bridgestones and now my Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Don't go cheap on tires. Remember the only thing touching the ground on your car are your tires, so you want to have the best quality tires you can possibly afford. I personally will never buy anything other than Michelins or Bridgestones for my cars again. Nittos are cheap for a reason.
