Default Most quiet tires?

Got a nail in one of my rear tires last night, so it's time to reduce the road noise.
Currently on Dunlop Sport Maxx's and I'm less than thrilled.
I've heard that the Michelin super sports are a good way to go, any other opinions?

PSS. another tire that was crazy quiet for how much grip it had was the bridgestone RE-11. it was quiet even when the front tires ate down to the cords. i didnt even know if i didnt look at the tire. i was very surprised with the quietness

The most quiet tires are the ones that come on a Prius.

easiest decision ever !!! Michelin PSS hands down. Its the best all around performance street tire that you can get right now.

I can't compare to a ton of other tires, but I read a lot of reviews on Tire Rack for another car I had and the Continental Extreme Contact DW's came up tops in comfort and road noise among their class of tire. I found them to be a really nice set or tires, great grip and not terribly loud.

The OEM Bridgestone Potenzas have incredible grip, hard to spin them. They are soft though, only good for about 25,000 miles

Dunklops. Haha. Had them on my 1988 Rx7 and I could not wait till they wore out. Hated them. Anyway having just researched this here on CL some have suggested the Continental DWS as being a very nice tire. May give that one a look. I'll be putting those on mine after the Michelin's Turenza wear out on the IS350c.

The PSS leaves nothing to be desired for me so I give them a solid recommendation as well.
