The ISF has been growing on my more and more lately as I consider getting a different vehicle. I think I may just sell my truck and then be able to justify getting an OS Giken LSD and winter wheels/tires. I'm probably going to work on seriously lightening the ISF next spring to keep it competitive with even new competitors like the M3/4 and AMG C63.

I have a Camaro SS (2012) right now and I am actually planning to look in the used market and trade my camaro for a 2013+ IS-F next year. I question if I will be ok to lose the low end torque though from the LS3. I have headers, exhaust, intake, and tuned on the camaro right now. Will it be that overly noticeable if I pursue similar mods on the IS-F? Will I be disappointed performance wise?
I am a Japanese car fan at heart (All of my other cars are Honda or Toyota, so the camaro was an outlier from the beginning lol), the IS-F was actually my first choice in 2012 but the stars didn't align at the time. so quite conflicted but I want back in the JDM world, and be able to trust toyota reliability as compared to the shady treatment I have gotten with GM. I additionally am looking for a more refined car, in regards to mechanically, interior and exterior.

All other things equal, a 2012 Camaro with I/H/E and a decent tune should be about even with an ISF with I/H/E in a straight line. There is no tuning solution out for the ISF, but the stock ECU learns well and adjusts for basic mods. Other than straight line performance, I would give the ISF the advantage is virtually every other subjective category.

There is no tune for isf, atleast not as of yet (SARD is working on one). To trick the ecu, headers come with a simulator that seems to work most of the time. Though lately it seems they haven't been working so well gauging by the numerous threads about the topic on page 1 lol.

I switched from my IS 350 to German and now have American Muscle in the form of a massive sedan. It is awesome. VERY awesome. I see myself going back and forth all my life. You simply can't settle on one. I am eyeing the '13 Audi S6. For speed, utility, MPG, safety, luxury, performance, there is no better choice for me. My SRT8 is most wonderful, but I saw the S6 in a dealer and nearly fell over.
