08 to 12 doesn't support this feature?

There are some specific (and case sensitive!) naming conventions that you need to follow - sounds like you are doing that so... if you are using your USB stick as a media player, stop playback first, remove and reinsert the USB key (that may enable the upload images/transfer button).

You need to use these exact folder names (both are case sensitive):

StartupImage
DisplayOffImage

You can only use JPEG (*.jpg or *.jpeg) images to upload, and those file names must not exceed 32 characters in length. I also found that some special characters may have also been problematic. Each image file must be 10MB or smaller. Up to three images per folder name as listed above (the fourth image is the default image provided with the vehicle).

Good luck!

Sorry, it does not appear to be a feature on '08 - '12 models. I also have a set of 2012 manuals and they don't discuss the Image Customization option. Looks like a '13 - '14 feature only... but if someone knows the firmware and/or the Nav system well enough, they might be able to figure it out.

Regards,
- Kirk

Very good. My 13 has this feature but haven't got around to playing with it.

Thanks to the OP for making this more known. Here's a larger version if anyone's interested:

Anyone know if we get the lexus nav upgrade if this feature is included? or is that just a map update?

Since I finally was able to get my baby back, the first thing I did was upload this image and it works like a charm. Beautiful F logo displays just after the Lexus logo on startup. Thanks again Kirk for your original post on this easy but great mod.
