Default Used 2008 ISF Price

There's a post on Craigslist on a Clean Title 2008 White ISF, it has 81k miles. Which is a bit high for my taste however he/she does have a transferable penske warranty. That's all the poster posted, other than the three pictures he/she provided. I have no other information. He/she is asking for $31k. Assuming he/she did all of the maintenance at the dealership. What do you guys think a fair price would be for this F? 29k? 28k?

Thanks for reading.

If I had 80k on a white 2008 ISF I would sell it for more than $31k

It really depends of your area but there is one for sale in mine for about the same but with less miles and the perfect colour.

Haha, the ideal color for me is SFP on Black. :P And I'm in Arizona so rarely will you ever see F's like this being sold on Craigslist.

i'd say that is a decent price given that mileage, and actually a great price if its in perfect shape with all maint records, no accidents, and fairly new tires and brakes.

I don't think asking here is really reasonable. It's supply and demand, the KBB will tell you the values. They seem to fluctuate. People will pay any price depending on if they want it bad enough. a few grand up or down is not a life changing decision.

can't sell mine to save my life. Every high school kid with a civic is willing to trade their car to you + 5k, or low ball you 29k offers on a 2010 but even at a 38k asking making it the cheapest 2010 for sale in the country no one bites or they just offer you like 30k.

Manheim values are spotty at best right now and range 28-35k depending on year and mileage. And good luck basing off KBB. Dealer trade in on my car is like 38.5k on KBB and the highest trade i've been offered by any dealer is 30k.

Nothing against the community but it's just a different buyer for the ISF than people that go for an M3 or C63 IMO.

ISF's will hold their values for a long long time. I don't see 2008's dipping below 30K unless the car has 5+ owners and really high mileage. Just my opinion from what I've been observing out there.

To the OP, the rules I try to stick by is less owners = less stories and of course low miles. But seeing the reliability of ISF's I wouldn't shy away from high mileage ISF's, you could get a great deal.
