I would say we took up about 93% of the whole space. I'll take better pictures later and post them. Also we used existing holes so no drilling what so ever, plus you can put the cover back on but why? Cause the covers are the main reason the heat soak in the engine bay.

Next would be hacking the actual cover I found my rotozip

Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, it was done right before I worked into work, and there were some water spots on the brackets to hold it down.

Honestly you would get better results with a grill like mine... I get lots of air going to my engine bay from the front.

Quick question, I'm getting the same non-badged carbon grill as yours mate.

Does this have any issues regarding the cruise control radar operation? Someone mentioned the sensor is in or behind our grills? May be different here in the UK?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers.

no sensor behind the grill... maybe a UK thing, but I highly doubt there would be a sensor behind the grill itself. It would make more sense if the sensors were on the bumper itself.

I modded my grill myself so yeah I know there weren't any sensors behind or attached to it.

I know that for US spec cars with the radar cruise control option there is sensor located behind the L logo on the grille.

Did you make that mesh grille? or did you just mod it to fit?
