Default Close up pics of Novel header

Here are some close up pics of Novel headers that are being installed into 2012 F, at local Lexus dealership, they don't belong to me, I wish they did damn nice headers, these belong to local CL member.

Now some observation very light weight, much narrower tubing than on my PPE headers seems closer to stock dimensions. The rear flange area were all four exhaust pipes meet, is actually removable, you also have ability to articulate header pipes all for easier installation and last no simulator needed.

They are using the old school mechanical fix instead. They are 90 degree bungs that limits the exhaust's flow/path to the downstream o2 sensors.

I was a little pissed off seeing the thread on gutting the cats after installing my PPE headers. I could have saved a bundle of cash. If I had bought these I would be looking for the nearest cliff to drive over. They are nice regardless of what I think though.

Gutting the cats still has not been proven to be better.. on other vehicles, removing the cats on stock headers did not yield as much gain as 4-2-1 or 4-1 headers.

If you're looking for marginal gain then gutting the cats is worth the investment.

Yes Kyle. Couldn't resist after you posted the video with your setup . You were right, these are insane. Can't wait to hear them once they're on.

Thanks weapon f for setting me up with the dealership and taking the time to bring me there. Great people on this forum.

Are these headers around $6k? Can't believe that price on a car worth around $40k. I wonder if Ferrari guys drop $50k on headers cause that is same equivalent
