To match the TRS LED fogs, you will likely need the Ultinon bulbs, and at minimum the CBI's. I have the CBI's and there's definitely a difference being that the LED fogs are more clear and brilliant white and I even have clear lenses in my HID projectors. But that's just the nature of the beast with this **** poor headlight design. My wife's factory bulbs in her Mercedes are more clear and brilliant white than my CBI's haha.

Somehow I thought these LED fogs would break-in but they are still too blue. Just a heads-up to those of you. I still have 08 stock lights, so maybe I'm just seeing a bigger difference?

Also, I got morimoto LED bulbs for the parking lights and they don't even match with the fogs.. You'd figure they would since they're the same brand and temp.

Looking to upgrade my 2012 F fog lights. Are these the correct lights to get? Sounds like they may be too blue??

Does the 5500k color temp match the factory lights?

It's a much more brilliant light than our ****ty factory head lights. Even with the Phillips CBI they aren't the same look. You would likely need the Ultinon bulbs and clear lenses to try and match the clarity of these LED's.

Going to bump this old thread in case anyone is looking into these fog light. TRS indeed updated their fog lights. The internals are not the same. Lastest model since 2017+ are updated.

Browsing through Diode dynamics, they seem to be carrying of that of the old TRS design.

No matter what gen mine are, they’ve been on since the day I installed them and still working fine just FYI.

Good to know they have been updated as I was looking to get the OEM 2014 fogs, but now might look at these as an alternative, seems like they're brighter @ 1,200 lumens per side!
