Any Ohio ISF owners on here with modified suspension?
I find my 2010 a tad too stiff and I'm looking for aftermarket options. I basically sold 2 cars to get this IS F; a 2004 LS430 (I know, super cushy) and a 91 300zx TT. Even the Z took bumps much better than this car does.
I would actually like something adjustable if possible; something that I can set to daily driver comfortable especially for family trips. and then set it to weekend crazy cornering mode. This car will never be on a track.
In central Ohio; PM me if you don't mind showing off your aftermarket suspension.
After an hour of reading it seems the KW ver 3 coilovers would be a good fit for me, but I'd love to drive a car with them first.
Thanks,
Shawn

Also would like to note that I have 0 interest in lowering the car either. My wife will drive it occasionally and not interested in getting the "Honey I scraped the bottom of the car pulling into my friend's driveway" phone calls.

Sparky3,
I am in Columbus and I have Stance coil overs with Figs camber arms, Figs toe arms, Figs front lower rear bushing.
From what Mike at Figs says, KW V3 are a great coil over if your stock but any modifications you should look into something more aggressive.
If you are not interested in lowering the car I also have my stock 08 suspension as it is a stiffer ride than the 2010 stuff.
Feel free to PM me. I am almost always out at cars and coffee (http://columbuscarsandcoffee.net/) on Saturdays if you would like to check it out in person.

Just a follow up - Biggu is a great guy and his Dad isn't too bad either...
After driving the IS F for a week I'm used to the suspension already and will keep it stock for now. I blame all of this on previously owning GS and LS430's. Now I get in my wife's super cushy minivan and hate it.

But for a daily use, just leave the suspension stock and just change out the tires, that's what I did. I switched the fronts out to 235/35/19 instead of 225/40/19, your not losing the ride quality and not killing the shocks with aftermarket springs. Plus it slightly lowers the front not much, and when you look at it, it does give you the lowered look. (not much). The other thing is no worries driving over speed bumps or driveways... just watch out for pot holes.
