Replica Wald Rear Spoiler Question

Replica Wald Rear Spoiler Question
Hi Guys,
Looking at the carbon replica Wald spoiler for my F off eBay.
Can anyone who has fitted one of these confirm whether I would need to remove the trunk emblem, or does the spoiler fit with it in the OEM position?
Costs seems pretty reasonable.
This is the one I am thinking about getting: http://www.ebay.com/itm/05-13-XE20-IS250-IS350-ISF-Carbon-Fiber-Trunk-Rear-Spoiler-JDM-FOR-LEXUS-/271508436640?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f3729f6a0&vxp=mtr
Thanks guys.
Peter

just installed the same one on my is-f but i painted it. you have to take the spoiler off and the emblem off the back before you can install the new one. The wing has 2 bolts and a bunch of adhesive tape. The emblem is stuck on with adhesive tape as well. I used a plastic puddy knife with a rag over it and it worked pretty well. Do yourself a favor and get this 3m adhesive strip off wheel. it made things so much easier! http://www.ebay.com/itm/stripe-off-wheel-with-attachment-hardware-3M-Free-Shipping-07498-/371084813305?hash=item566660e3f9&item=371084813305&pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&vxp=mtr

Definitely a hole from the pics on ebay, and I haven't seen that before either. I'd assume it should fit around the emblem perfectly. It'd be kind of weird if it was made otherwise. If you're worried, maybe you can ask the seller to measure it?
If it fits correctly I think it'll look nice over obsidian.

Hmm, thanks guys.
Didn't see another carbon wald replica on eBay? Thought this was the only one.
What worries me is the fact it's carbon. I know I can blend and paint it if the fitment is off, but I'm going with real carbon in a few places as my theme.
The pillars have real carbon trims fitted, the shifter is the F sport carbon version, my centre console, door switch covers and rear arm rest are also going real carbon (layer of real carbon with a coat of lacquer on top, not the 3M film etc).
I'd ideally like to keep the weave exposed, but can't if the fit is really bad.
Will think on it.
Cheers.

Get the recessed one if you can. I was not aware of the one with a hole in it but with the fitment not being 100% on the replica i wouldn't take a chance. hope it works out for ya

I recently put a one A WALD rep from Ebay on my car. The finish for the Carbon fiber faded in a couple days and now looks hazy...
If you want it to look good AND be carbon fiber, I suggest going with the real deal. Else, plan on painting it.
Just my two cents.
Also, mine didn't have a hole and required me to pull the emblem off to install it.

That's what I'm worried about, especially here in AZ with the intense sun. Hell, even my OEM silver carbon fiber interior pieces are starting to discolor (yellow) a bit from constant exposure to the sun/heat in the summers.
