I don't think anyone here has done it but it has been discussed multiple times. I believe the consensus is that it would free up a pretty good amount of ponies. I plan on doing this as soon as I pull the trigger on a nitrous system.

Can you chop it off while its still on the car? If not then theres no real value in it.. stock headers have such a basic design and the power you'll get from deleting cats are debatable.

I went to a local muffler shop and they said that with a special tool they can bore out the insides and all i would need is a o2 sim/conditioner so that the cel don't pop up i will try this out to see what happens .

In my opinion, my first isf was faster with gutted primary cats than when it had headers. Ive raced other ISFs with headers and I have yet to see anything to prove otherwise.

Did you have your cat gutted or cut off and replaced with straight pipe? Did you do it your self and also did you need a o2 conditioner?

I'll be your dyno....

Me and Slay raced not to long ago. We both data logged our cars, wot runs and A/F mixtures were great.
We raced from a 40mph roll till 160mph. We were head to head. At 90, 120, 140mph I jumped a foot at each. At 160mph I was only up by 3 tiny feet.

My car: afe filter, ppe header, isa cat back, iss scoops (a whole lotta $)
Slays: gutted primary cats w/ ppe 02 conditioner, replaced mufflers & secondary cats with straight pipes (he saved a lot of $, lol)
