I deleted my cats and replaced it with a straight pipe.You can get some drone on the hwy if your driving the car in auto mode but in manual mode you can control the drone.

I bought a 2nd set of manifolds to cut up and weld in pipe where the cats are when time permits.

I cut them all out and the res too ! My muffler guy cut out the cats and welded a new straight pipe to the Mid pipe.

Essentially that's what you're doing here, the term straight pipe means no cats, muffler or resonator. By pounding the cat out of the OEM pipe you have created a "straight pipe" with no cutting, welding or fabrication to the actual piping.it would make no sense to cut and weld the OEM pipe up when you can pound the insides out for the same result. Either way if you fail an inspection it's going to be costly and time consuming to replace the cats.
