I am 90% sure that I am going to delete my primary cats. I already deleted my secondary cats and mufflers. Only one thing that concerns me is the smell; I know I will get the same smell even if I get aftermarket headers, but how bad is the smell? My catless WRX wasn't bad at all I could not even remember if it smell bad.

I know I will need to get the O2 conditioners and gaskets. Does anyone knows the part number for gaskets?

Thanks

good to know. it must mean that the Novel workaround is to use a "catted" antifouler.

Try another shop, it is illegal in most places that's why they may not do it, Very simple process once u lower down the down pipes, the internals crumble very easy, took me less then 30min to do both, wear a face mask btw good luck

I believe you only need one unit to avoid getting any cel.

Rafi, can you chime in on this a bit more since this is your product?

Quick question on this, do you think I could pass California smog tests with gutted cats? I want headers so bad but don't really want to drop the money on headers and swap back to stock headers every 2 years for smog...

Do you still have secondary cats?

^^^^Not necessarily. It will pass visual, and should pass the sniffer with the secondaries still installed. With the installation of an o2 conditioner, such as the one sold by PPE, you will not show a CEL. IMO, you will pass.

Basically that's what you do is smash them out. Take a flat blade screw driver and bang them until they crumble and fall out.
