PIC request...isf LED fog output
Thinking on replacing my halogen fogs on my 08 with some LED fogs from the 2014, does anyone have( night time) some output pics, and how close is the color to the OEM 4300k in the low beams

I should have some better pics as these are just off my phone but the color is pretty close and I think looks much better than the halogens. Also check this thread to see other pics.

^^^^I wouldn't hazard a guess on the color output. The pict is pretty accurate, you can estimate it yourself. The light output is better closer in than it was with the halogen bulbs. I wanted all blue or similar light coloring on low beam. I'd love to know of a way to replace the stock running light/High Beam bulb with something that matches what I now have on Low Beam. I hate the Lexus Brown color.

I got rid of the yellow DRLs by turning them off using TechStream. I upgraded the fogs to 4300k HIDs and the parking lights to 5000k LEDs. In my case shutting off the DRLs was my best option because I did not want to loose my high beams. Lou, I am pretty sure you have access to TechStream and possibly already have shut off your DRLs if not, I will be at PPE's shop on the 16th if you would like to shut off your DRLs. I alway carry the laptop and cable with me. I would love to have 4300k high beams but in my opinion, Halogens are the best option if you want functional high beams. Jeff

I went with TRS direct replacement LED fogs. Output is great for a fog considering fog lights really don't do **** haha. They just look fancy. They are probably closer matched to a set of Ultinons rather than the Phillips CBI's I have. But I don't care I'd rather not sacrifice output for color in such a poorly designed projector.

6000k and set off a blueish tint. They are very bright.

Recommendations for a great LED projector fog light? Not worried about light hue as much as I'd like them to actually be usable in poor weather conditions. Had a set of morimoto XB LED projectors on my G37 for $100 during group buy(normally $180). Are the TRS OEM LED comparable? Any under $150?

I installed some OSRAM LED DRL-Fogs (https://www.osram.com/osram_com/news...ghts/index.jsp)
Bit of a moody one, but DRL on, with a 501 LED for the sidelight too
Just the DRL's. These are full brightness, you can select 80% brightness by changing one wire connection
Halogen sidelight and DRL; justification in going for LED sidelight
