The lift nzk has is ideal for homeowners. It can be moved out of the way when not in use and the biggest plus is that the posts are not to high for ceiling under 12'.

It really does pay for it's self if you do a lot on your cars or friends cars. Plus it saves your body from a ton of abuse.

One of my dreams, has always to have my own pit. I've always had my houses built, but I have never really explored getting a pit. One of my regrets.

that is one spotless 3 car garage!! And yes, I'm also jealous of the lift... if I still wrenched on the cars every week, I'd invest in one, but all I do now is oil and brake changes.

Awesome...

Home Lift is my next mod..

Small tip with the foil.. Use it in the trans cover, as that is where most of the mess occurs.

I bought this house because it has a 12' ceiling in the three car garage. That lift is designed for 4" concrete (standard home pour), not 6" like the rest of them, and as was said, it can easily be unbolted from the floor and moved out of the way.

The wife hates me working on cars on jack stands, so she's 100% behind the purchase. Definitely on the home improvement list!

Yea realized that too late! Foil will be in the correct spot next time. Thanks for the compliments, I have been working on cars on my back for many years (trans pulls, susp work, exhaust etc) finally had the room to get one, highly recommended.

wanted to add procedure for oil light reset:

1. Start the car and set the odometer to the total vehicle miles setting 2. Turn off the car 3. Hold in the odometer button 4. Turn the car on by pressing 'start' twice but DO NOT start the car (don't press the brake pedal) 5. Continue to hold the odometer button in until it resets to all zeros 6. Let it go
