I did run into your thread while doing research. The S-04 is quite a bit cheaper than PSS, but it weighs quite a bit compared to the PSS. Lighter wheels and tires on the IS300 it made a world of difference in performance and feel. I think I'm pretty dead set on the PSS at this point.

The guy at my tire shop has highly recommended these. These are also directional tires that are great for lowered cars. Any other reviews on these? These seem to have longer lasting life than some of the other top tier tires.

imho on a car like this the lighter weight tire is a better choice but the S04s are so cheap they draw so many in. PSS is the way to go but there are many F'ers out there who dont track so its kind of like splitting hairs for some

I'm going on my second set of the BFGoodrich's. My ISF is my daily commuter and I do not drive aggressively. The first set is still going with 15K miles. I already purchased a new set of rears; just waiting until I go bald in the back. The front set was replaced 2K miles ago due to inner tire wear. I would say they aren't the stickiest tires but does just fine for my daily commute in SoCal. Great for the price too.
