P0441 trouble code
Had a weird issue last week. Not looking for information just sharing what I discovered. I could find no information on this site for our engines or my situation. So this is for the next guy, that may have the same problem. It does not appear to be a very common issue.
I brought the car out of storage to drive around a little, but after 20 km, kept getting a CEL P0441...so I reset the code and like clockwork, it would pop up again.
Check VSC, Exclamation point, Trac light on, Engine light on - but no drivability issues or motor idle hunting...just seemed normal.
P0441 = Evap code
I knew it wasn't the gas cap, because I replaced it last year, and P0441 usually is accompanied by P0446 when it is the gas cap...I did not have P0446.
I sort of figured it would be related to a vacuum line somewhere in our bag of snakes motor, or the purge valve. So I checked the easiest one first.
I used the schematics on Sewell to locate the purge valve, removed my engine cover and located the valve assembly at the back of the motor attached to the manifold, directly below the rear engine cover holder on the drivers side.
I touched one of the purge valve lines and I hear "crack" as it completely comes apart. It was half broken and just hanging on, but enough to lose pressure or vacuum and cause a code.
Replacement Valve $88.00 - Old part with broken spigot all brittle from the heat.
Installation was about 3 minutes with simple tools - The replacement part comes with the mounting bracket already attached. Its one bolt 12mm into the manifold.
Test drove - and all is well. I'm pretty sure I saved some huge dealer repair fees

nice write up and glad you found your problem yourself, better than taking it to the dealers and having them take forever to figure the problem out.
