Anyone compare their coilover set up to the 2012 oem suspension changes?
wanted to know if anyone has compared their coilover suspension to the oem suspension changes in the 2012?
what are the pros and cons you qualitatively observed or noticed?
if you had a pre 12 car, would you opt for the changes in the oem 12 suspension, go for the coilovers or not change anything wrt to your suspension?
which was better for day to day usages (non-track)
thanks in advance for any feedback.

It's my first thread on this forum and a search was performed and relative threads were read. None answer my question.
Do the first two responders have anything useful to add?

Suspension Answer:
2012 did have an upgraded suspension, softer ride then all the years before... Getting Coilover would be the best option to get depending on the specs of the spring rates - BC Coilover w/Swift Springs are the most common and the best all around choice to get.
Steering ECU:
Yes you can upgrade the 08-10 steering ECU with the 2011+
I have done the search for you...

VDIM / ECU:
No, part numbers are not the same. Each year had a different ecu part number and serial number

Why? Target what you want, buy it, install it, be happy. It's not rocket science. Lexus has enough trouble getting automotive journalists basic information about the year to year changes, and they get it wrong more often than not.
If you really want part numbers, there are any number of sites where you can catalog the differences over the years. It still won't tell you what was actually changed or why.
