Default What to pay for a Tom's kit???

I want a Tom's body kit (front spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser) and have been working with a few vendors that I know and today was told by one of them $4,000 +$600 shipping and a 3 month wait. Does that sound reasonable?

Then I come home this afternoon and I am surfing the net (do people still say that?) and I find this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOMS-RACING-2008-LEXUS-IS-F-ISF-CARBON-FIBER-AERO-KIT-COMPLETE-VIP-TRD-WALD-/321330134941?pt=Car_Audio_Video&vxp=mtr&hash=item4ad0c4bf9d
Has anyone ever heard of "Accurate" or has anyone bought their Tom's kit from them? They say they have two and they are charging $3,349 plus free shipping. I rather buy from someone I know but $1,100 dollar difference is material...heck that would almost pay for my BC Coilovers from FIG... Thanks for any info you can provide.

3400 is what it should be new and shipped. 4600 seems to be a lot of markup but it's all about supply and demand.

If you shop around you can actually buy it in pieces a bit cheaper! I cringe when I see used Wald OR Tom's in the FS forum for more $ than new and a line of 5 people deep wanting to buy it.

It's all about supply and demand. When the Toms first came out for the IS F, I was quoted at a little under $3k shipped for all parts. Some vendors now have it between $3400-$4k. And what's worse is that some require a substantial amount that goes towards the total cost of the parts with shipping, so if a buyer doesn't choose to want it any longer for any given reason (typically due to wait times to arrive in the US), then they lose out on that deposit.

But it might be easier to scour the FS section. Some Toms parts have been popping up lately. But if you want the entire package and you are getting it from a vendor, do expect to wait a good amount of time- if these parts are even available still for the IS F. I did hear from other members as well as feedback from vendors that manufacturers like Toms and WALD might not produce as much anymore since the IS F isn't produced for this upcoming model year.
