New (to me) ISF
Hey Guys. I'm Pete, from Houston. I've had my "new to me" 2011 a couple of weeks now, and I'm very impressed. This particular car was leased by female surgeon in AZ, and came to me super clean with 27K miles on her. I am looking forward to stretching her legs on one of my favorite local road courses. The transmission in these cars is a masterpiece, IMO, and the suspension w LSD really does a nice job of getting power to the ground, and making the car turn like it's lighter than it is. The brakes and low intrusion "sport" mode traction system complete the package. Previous cars were S2000CR, track prepped NC Miata, and my current FRS with minor mods. I'm finding the IS F to be a very capable dual purpose "sleeper". I get a little giddy every time I hit the button and that beautiful V8 starts to sing. Only thing in the works are 19x9 front and 19x10 rear custom offset wheels with bigger meats. May have to spring for some Carbotech pads if she gets addicted to the track .

dude I totally know how you feel. Just picked up a 2010 with 21k miles on it and funny enough it came from Tx. lol The car is incredible. I knew it was fast but I didnt expect it to be this damn good. Youre right the tranny is mind blowing. I read an article last night were the reviewer said the tranny in the ISF easily matches the 9K paddle shift set up in the 599GTB Ferrari

Thanks for all the kind words, Guys. I'm finding myself looking for reasons to drive. I think all she really needs for a track day is a brake fluid flush/upgrade. Nice place, here
