Default Bent my baby

I had an accident in my F last night. It was my fault, I went to make a u-turn on a wide empty street, and there was an old Honda in the blind spot on my left. I turned right into it and pretty much wrecked the drivers side door. No pictures yet, there's a blizzard going on here and I can't get out to the carriage house. I am deeply depressed.

I've been in a situation like that before. Your car can be replaced, but not you. The ISF will get fixed up and you'll be back to cruising like usual!

Nothing happened to me. Thanks for asking. As soon as the snow stops I'll be taking it to Bloomfield Auto Body, they did an amazing job when someone dented that same door.

***** happens, but as long as you're ok then it could've been catastrophically worse...

Doesn't sound like the F was banged up too badly, either...

As long as you're ok, that's all that matters. I know how difficult it can be to have any sort of blemish on the car, but it's replaceable. Hopefully the repairs won't take long and you'll be back to enjoying the F again soon.

That's life... Crap happens, as long as your fine then that's why we all pay insurance.

So sorry to hear that... I know how it feels... Several months ago I had a guy on the freeway run over a 2ft x 3ft piece of compressed wood, kick it up, and it smacked my car straight on, then whipped around to the side and hit both passenger doors and side skirt.... $4,000 in damage. I was deeply depressed as well...

Shes fixed now and all is well... Hope everything gets fixed for you soon..

At least my grief is shared, thanks guys. I can't bring myself to take a picture, don't want to see it through a camera or on the computer screen, I just want it fixed.

Make sure you do take a pic so when you sell it you can demonstrate that the F was not in 100 pieces and welded back together (if someone inquires or notices paint/body work).

Sorry to hear about that. I have to be very careful switching lanes as I've lost a few tiny cars in my blind spot before....creating some close calls. I call them blind spot Ho's. They just camp out in your blind spot almost baiting you to hit them. Sometimes it's unavoidable to be in someone's blind spot.....but for some- it's their mission in life.
