Verify the water pump is not leaking or if it has been changed under warranty. That is pretty much the only thing "issue" the 08's had. Other then that the 60K recommended maintenance is the most significant with plugs, brake fluid flush, oil change and filters. Everything is common stuff...brakes, fluid, levels, body condition (accidents, dents, ect...), paint care and condition, upgrades and if any who did them.
Good luck and hope to see you back with good news!

Good luck and to reiterate, make sure the 60k maintenance has been done because if you choose to do it at a dealership it will run you 1200 bucks (or at least that's what I was quoted)

If they're following the schedule and checking the valve lash, that's pretty cheap. I wouldn't do the valve lash alone for that price.

Wow, the 60k maintenance is supposed to be that high? My Lexus service manager told me it would be $250 to get it done on my car. I guess I should ask him for a list of everything that's included in that $250 price. Something's amiss...
