Default Slight steering wheel shimmy under low speed braking

Lately, I have been noticing a shimmy in my steering wheel right before I come to a stop (moves about 1/4" left-right-left). I can't notice any issue at higher speeds or under heavy braking, so my guess is it is not a warped rotor. It's not just rutted pavement either, since I've noticed it on totally smooth new asphalt. It has been a little cooler than normal lately, but still SoCal temperatures.

Any ideas? I'm about to install a set of coilovers and poly control arm bushings, so if there's an issue I'd like to get it fixed under warranty before I change the suspension.

To be honest it kinda does sound like rotors. I had a similar problem with a g37.

I'd be amazed if I managed to warp a rotor with the IS-F's brake setup. I don't track and don't ride the brakes.

Have you ever got your F washed right after a hard braking or a long trip? You should bring the car to the dealer to see what happening.

Rotors don't warp. That is a myth. What happens is that you get uneven deposits of brakepad material into the Rotor. You can try rebedding them in to see if it helps a bit.

^^This. I am always amazed at how the myth of the warped rotor continues. Even more amazed anyone would turn an unscored rotor. Ever. But they do, and service writers love them for the profits they generate by an unnecessary machining process and by reducing the rotor's service life for no good reason at all.
